Meet the country leaders

André is Black Maple's Managing Partner in Canada, where he leads audit engagements and a portfolio of fractional CFO clients across the region. He spent his career in listed audit at Mazars, Grant Thornton and PKF, working on AIM and Main Market listed entities and the reporting scrutiny that comes with them. At Mazars he was also involved in the design and build of audit software from scratch, leading the team across the UK and the firm's head office in France. That combination, deep listed-audit experience and hands-on involvement in designing the tools auditors use, shapes how we run engagements at Black Maple.

Ben leads Black Maple in the UK and the Middle East as Managing Partner and Responsible Individual. He brings over 15 years of experience gained at top 10 firms, spanning audit, capital-markets advisory, AIM and Main Market listed businesses, and complex reporting environments. He takes a disciplined, commercial and pragmatic approach to audit quality, risk assessment and stakeholder communication. Away from work, Ben likes playing sport, particularly padel and tennis, and spending time with his family.

Sofía is a Chief Financial Officer (Director Financiero) and leads Black Maple in Madrid, providing fractional CFO and financial support to companies operating across Spain and Spanish-speaking markets. She combines senior financial leadership with an international perspective, tailored to the Spanish regulatory environment.
